General Galaxy and Forum Rules

Originally Galaxy 64, we have performed a coup d'etat on Galaxy 40 and claimed it as our own. What was done is much like thieves, isn't it? That was the very condensed form of the introduction to our galaxy. Now, onto the rules...

Number 1 rule: Have fun.

Galaxy Rules:

• Try to play at least once a week. Please post on the galaxy board if you are going away for a short while. If you don't, we might kick you for other members that want to join.
  
  
• We have a set limit of 40 thieves, no more than 40 can join. When we are over the 40 limit, we will kick those who don't contribute to our galaxy in any way (aka those who don't talk, do gem raids, pillar raids, etc.) We kick every two weeks or end of the month, depending on how much freeloading the inactive are doing.
  
  
• Communicate with us. If you don't talk, then we don't want you, as we're an active galaxy. (Active galaxy means having verbal communication from members to help each other out, as well as organize raids.)
  
  
• Be courteous, modest and patient. Have temperance when doing gem fights. Use the warn button only when needed. (For example: If a pillar is about to fall, then you can warn and kick if necessary.)
  
  
• We tolerate all sorts of people, from trolls to the well-mannered man. You may leave, if this variety conflicts with you. In fact, we will never try to stop you from leaving us for any reason. (Although I do wish you would state the reason you left.)
  
  
• We actively use the galaxy board, so please click and read it, if it's glowing. Sometimes there are things we will do that requires critical timing.
  
  
• Reinforcements are available to those who needs it. Request it in the galaxy board or galaxy chat, when people are on.
  
  
• Our galaxy is very aggressive. (In terms of pvp, raiding and other activities.) You, as a member should follow our philosophy and wreak havoc to any hostile galaxies by pvp (Please use spy on heroes and fleet, if necessary, as some people have really strong heroes or hiding behind a fighter fleet.) If you don't like pvp, then you don't follow our galaxy's main objective.
  
  
• Try to raid a pillar when you can. Raiding pillars is costly, both in terms of ships and time spent rebuilding, so do it only if you have a lot of spares.
  Change: You MUST hit at least one pillar every week. (Subject to change, depending on the amount of freeloading.)
  
  
• Do NOT donate to our own pillar. Why? Well, our pillar will fall, no matter what, so it's in your best interest to save your ore. Sure, you get coupons for donating, but it's still minimal, compared to actually ranking on the pillar.
  Change: Only use pillar crystals to restore HP (as well as obtaining coupons.)
  
  
• Suggest galaxies to hostile in the galaxy board, since we have a
  rotation of diplomacy changes every day or so (subject to change.) Keep in mind that other members should be able to hit some people in the specified galaxy.
  Change: New rotation every month.
  
  
• Galaxy members must register for our forum. Why? Well, there's some things that we cannot convey clearly or efficiently in the galaxy board in-game.
  After registering, if you don't see the activation email within 15 minutes, check spam first. If it doesn't show up within that time, private message me here or mail me in-game.
  
  There is also another safeguard to prevent others from registering, aka account approval by admin. I, Lzrs, will have to approve the account, before you can actually use it.
  
  IMPORTANT: To be able to view the boards in Member's Area, VIP and Intelligence Network, you'll have to get your rank promoted to Galaxy Member. This is obtainable after being in the galaxy for a week +/- and is not automatic, so please mail Lzrs in-game, if you are not promoted, after a week or so.
  

Forum Rules

• Spam is not tolerated and in doing so will result in a warning. A suspension will occur after being warned 3 times.
  
  
• Although the filtering for foul language is turned off, refrain from using it, unless used jokingly. This, of course, is very vague and left for interpretation of the mods and admins to decide if it's really a joke or not.
  
  
• In relation to the previous rule; Flame wars will result in a warning or suspension.
  
  
• Nobody really reads the rules, so I don't know why I even bother writing this up ;D

G40 is now under new management. Majority of rules set forth are now abandoned. Galaxy members have free reign on what they want to do. Freeload, pillars, power leveling, whatever.
